Our values of PRIDE

 As a Trust we aim to give our patients the best possible experience by delivering the right care at the right time by the right team. We know our staff are committed to making a positive difference to patients’ lives by working together  - whatever challenges they may face, and by following the Trust values of PRIDE that lie at the very heart of our patient care. PRIDE stands for:

People - Showing high care standards or specifically helping a patient, visitor or colleague

Reputation – Actions that have helped to maintain the Trust's good name in the community

Innovation – Showing a fresh approach or finding a new solution to a problem

Excellence – Being considered ‘excellent’.


What are the PRIDE awards?

Standing for our Trust values of People, Reputation, Innovation, Dignity and Excellence, the PRIDE award is a monthly prize that recognises members of the Trust that have gone that extra mile and celebrates the hard work that goes on across the Trust every day.  Nominations are made by colleagues and the winner is chosen by a panel of peers rather than by management  - so it's truly an award given to our staff by our staff to show their appreciation of each other. 


This Month's PRIDE Winner

We are delighted to announce that the June 2018 year winner of the PRIDE Award is:

Tara Miles

For exceeding normal expectations through your willingness to undertake tasks at short notice and outside your normal role and thus helping to support your colleagues and alleviate operational difficulties.
