Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are a great way to learn and earn on the job.

We can offer a range of career opportunities in clinical and support services and the list is still growing. As an organisation we encourage further development of all our employees to progress upward within their chosen field.

An apprenticeship combines practical training in a job with study. It is available to anyone aged 16 and over who is looking for an exciting new job opportunity to train, develop and further their career.

Apprenticeships allow people to gain professional knowledge, skills and behaviours, alongside whilst gaining UK-recognised accreditations in a paid job.

At Weston Area Health NHS Trust you could start your career in healthcare support roles, learning whilst earning on a minimum of £14,331 per annum (full time). This pay is in line with the National Minimum/National Living wage instead of the National Apprentice wage.

Upon successful completion of an apprenticeship, apprentices could be offered a permanent role here at the Trust.
