Bronwen joined the NHS from industry in 1981, training as a paramedic and working in various roles in a number of different services.
Having spent five years as Chief Executive of the Warwickshire Ambulance Service, she moved to the Department of Health, working with Ministers and training in administrative law.
Bronwen has extensive acute trust experience and has also worked at Strategic Health Authority level. Key areas of expertise include integrated governance, reputation management, risk management, major incident and business continuity systems development, and strategic and operational business planning and service development.
