The Appointments Commission appointed Chris Creswick as Chair of Weston Area Health NHS Trust in July 2008. Chris had served as Interim Chair of the Trust since December 2007.
Chris is very familiar with the North Somerset health community, having been Chairman of North Somerset Primary Care Trust in 2005-06. He has enjoyed a successful career in personnel and general management and has considerable experience at Board level in both private and public sector organisations.
In the NHS, he has been a Non Executive Director of the former Gloucestershire Ambulance NHS Trust and Chairman of the former Gloucestershire Health Authority between 1996 and 2002.
