Chartered Accountant, Ian Turner was originally appointed as a Non-Executive Director by the Appointments Commission in 2007 and re-appointed in 2011 and then 2015 to serve until August 2017 on the Trust Board. He is also Chair of the Trust’s Audit and Assurance Committee.
Ian currently is Deputy Chief Executive and Finance Director of the Health Care Financial Management Association, a Trustee of the Research Institute for the Care of Older People (RICE) and a director in a number of small businesses.
Ian is a retired partner from the international accounting and advisory firm KPMG, where he worked as an advisor and auditor to numerous organisations in the private and public sectors.
He is an experienced advisor to both commercial and public sector Boards.
