Charges and costing

All studies will be costed prior to contract agreement.  We use the NIHR Industry Costing Template for all commercial studies.

Set up fees - All set up fees are payable on signature of the contract.

• The Research & Development Dept.currently levies a set-up fee of £700.
• If local labs are required a set up fee of £200 will be payable.
• There is a Pharmacy set up fee which varies depending on their involvement. Please contact the Research & Development Dept. for details (01934 881135).  Pharmacy will also use the NIHR costing template.
• If a radiation risk assessment is required there will be a fee of £100.
• The fee for legal review of contracts is £650 plus VAT. This applies to modified model agreements and to non-standardised agreements (see Contracts section above.)
• If the Trust is required to archive study documents locally we may be required to use an external facility which will incur charges which will need to be included in the contract.
