We support International Nurses' Day

Every day, nursing staff around the World go the extra mile for their patients.

International Nurses’ Day takes place on 12 May each year, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth. It’s a chance to celebrate nursing staff around the world and it’s also a time for patients to thank nursing staff for their dedication and care.

Has a nurse, midwife, health visitor or healthcare assistant at the Weston Area Health NHS Trust made a real difference to your health or the health of a loved one? Say thank you on social media using #thankanurse.

This year, we're supporting International Nurses' Day by celebrating our nurses at the trust. Below, we've shared just a few of our nurses own stories. In their words, read the remarkable difference our nurses make every day.
