Simon has worked with the NHS for the past 25 years both within the service and in a consultancy capacity. His career has included undertaking a number of finance director roles in the NHS along with specialist roles in financial recovery, governance and contract management. He places significant importance on working with and engaging people in supporting service delivery and optimising value. He has gained experience from different parts of the Country and different parts of the NHS working at Director / Board level.
Simon brings with him an interest in programme management and a focus on pace of change and delivery underlined by his experience at local and National level.
Outside of work he has an interest in endurance cycling in the UK and across Europe and enjoys family life in Devon.
