Declarations of interest 2018-19

 

The Code of Conduct and Accountability (1994) requires NHS board directors to declare interests which are relevant and material to the board of which they are a director.

All existing Weston Area Health NHS Trust board directors have declared such interests and any board directors appointed subsequently will do so on appointment Interests which are regarded as "relevant and material" are:

a) Directorships, including non-executive directorships held in private companies or PLCs.

b) Ownership or part-ownership of private companies, businesses or consultancies likely or possibly seeking to do business with the NHS.

c) Majority or controlling share holdings in organisations likely or possibly seeking to do business with the NHS.

d) A position of authority in a charity or voluntary organisation in the field of health and social care.

e) Any connection with a voluntary or other organisation contracting for NHS services.

The Chief Executive has established a Register of Interests to record declarations of interests of Board members.
