Incident Command and Control Room
  • Remains in operation until Monday 5 March  to help us cope during this time.
  • Please contact switchboard 01934 636363 and ask to be put through.

Calling all staff: Can you work an extra shift this weekend?

  • We need support staff to help in Command and Control Room (answering phones, taking messages, supporting the team)
  • Clinical staff, If you are not booked on a shift , or don't normally work this weekend and you can work this would help the hospital and our patients enormously.
  • Clinical staff please contact your manager in the first instance
  • Non- clinical staff contact the Control Room
  • If you know colleagues who could work and who aren't in today please let them know
Remember the policy that if you're clinical staff and can't make it to your normal place of work please report to your nearest hospital. Thank you to colleagues from other NHS organisations who have come to work at Weston.

Unable to get home?
All clinical staff.  If you need to stay over tonight or over the weekend, Physio gym is being turned into a dormitory - we can give you floor space for mattresses, bedding, warm space and bed you down for the night. Food and hot drinks are available from vending machines etc.

Transport
Clinical staff struggling for transport - if you are truly stuck tonight and over the weekend please contact Incident Control Room. We cannot promise but we will try to find you transport.
Mind how you go, be safe and sensible
  • The hospital corridors are slippery around entrances. Please look after yourselves and take care.
  • Dress appropriately for the weather and if you need to wear scarves, cardigans over uniforms etc please do.
  • Look after yourselves while you're looking after other people in this bad weather.
