Changing the font style

You can alter the style of text that appears on your page so it's easier for you to read.

Some of the most commonly used web browsers can be updated in the following way:

Internet Explorer (version 6 and later)

  1. Click on the Tools menu
  2. Select Internet Options menu
  3. Choose the Accessibility button (in the General tab)
  4. Select the Ignore font styles box
  5. Click OK
  6. Click on the Fonts option
  7. Select the font that you wish to use
  8. Click OK
  9. Click OK again to close the Internet Options screen

 Firefox (version 2.9 and later)

  1. Go to the Tools menu bar and select Options menu (make sure that you are in the content section)
  2. Go to the Fonts & Colours section and select the font you wish to use
  3. Click on the Advanced button
  4. Untick the Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above box
  5. Click OK
  6. Click OK again exit the options menu

Google Chrome (version 12 and later)

  1. Click the tool icon in the top right-hand corner
  2. Select Options
  3. Select Under the hood on the left-hand side
  4. In the Web content section you can adjust the font size and style
