They shared a cake and invited all visitors on the day to make a comment in their celebration book.
The unit cares for people undertaking chemotherapy and other supporting treatments.
Sister Corrine Thomas said: "Our aim is to deliver, develop and enhance a quality service in a relaxed and friendly environment and communicating clearly and honestly with our patients is a priority.
"All the staff here responsible for patient care have received appropriate training and are competent to meet the individual needs of all our patients. We encourage good team working and laughter is very much encouraged and is part of the essence of our care.
“We know our patients are hesitant about coming in, but we aim to make them and their families feel as relaxed, supported and informed as possible during this difficult and emotional time.”
