More than 95% of patients would recommend Weston Area Health NHS Trust to their loved ones if they needed care or treatment.
1,250 patients at the Trust completed The Friends and Family Test (FFT) between April-June, which offers people who use NHS services the opportunity to provide feedback about the health care they receive.
An overwhelming majority of patients revealed that they would be ‘extremely likely’ to recommend the Trust to their friends and family.
Over the last three months, the Trust reported high scores across its services. Highlights of the findings reveal that:
Chris Perry, Director of Nursing for the Trust, said: “The Friends and Family Test is a national measure of patient experience of services so it’s great to see that the Trust is scoring highly.
“Our patients expect high-quality care and we work hard to deliver that. The Friends and Family Test is valuable because it provides instantaneous feedback which allows us to continually improve our services.
“The results show that the majority of patients are very satisfied with the services we provide and would recommend us to their friends and family if they needed care. That’s a terrific endorsement for the Trust and a testament to our staff who work around the clock to make sure patients have a positive experience when they come to our hospital for treatment.”
