Outpatients

The Outpatients department is based on the ground floor of Weston General Hospital.

On arrival at the hospital, please book in at reception who will welcome you and direct you to the waiting area for your clinic.

The majority of clinics are held in our Outpatients department either main Outpatients or Quantock Outpatients. However some specialist services have clinics in other parts of the hospital. This will  be marked on your appointment letter.

We may need to do a variety of tests during your Outpatients appointment, so you may be in the department for some time.

Due to the number of patient appointments and variety of specialities, clinics can run late, the clinic nurse will keep you verbally informed and delays written on the relevant waiting room clinic board

We have a Costa Coffee shop in the hosptial main entrance and Rafters Restaurant on the ground floor where you can get hot food and sandwiches.

Please ensure that you bring change for car parking, for further details see Car Parking at Weston General Hospital.

For further information and advice about attending appointments in the Outpatients Department, please see the Outpatients and Appointments in our Patients, Visitors and Carers section.
