Outpatients and Appointments


Many of our outpatient appointments are taking place as a  phone consultation and not in person. To avoid you making unnecessary trips to our hospitals please follow the instructions you’ve been given about how your appointment is taking place. You will find it on your appointment letter and explained to you if your appointment was arranged by phone.  


If you have an outpatient clinic appointment booked with UHBW at Weston but would like to change or cancel the date, please complete the Outpatients appointment cancellation and rescheduling form for Weston General Hospital. Please note that this form can only be used to change or cancel existing outpatients appointments more than 24 hours in advance, for same-day cancellations please call the number on your appointment letter or the main switchboard on 01934 636363.


If you have symptoms of coronavirus, you should not attend your appointment. Visit www.nhs.uk/coronavirus for the latest advice. If you need to cancel your appointment please call the telephone number on your appointment letter.

Unless we have contacted you to cancel or change your appointment, please attend as planned.

Some outpatient clinics may switch from face to face to telephone or video conferencing. If this is suitable for your appointment you will be contacted. Please note that telephone calls may appear on your phone as an 'unknown' number: please answer as this could be a member of staff trying to reach you.
