Antenatal Clinics

Most of your antenatal care will take place at your GP surgery.  If you need to see an Obstetrician the clinic is held in Ashcombe Clinic on a Wednesday morning.  The clinic provides Consultant Care locally for women with high risk pregnancy complications in an outpatient clinic. Referrals are made for clinic appointments by your named midwife, GP or St Michael's Hospital.

There is a midwifery-led clinic on a Tuesday morning for women who are suitable to give birth in a midwifery-led environment.  You will be invited to attend this clinic when you are 36 weeks pregnant and as part of this visit you will be shown around the Ashcombe Birth Centre and be able to ask any questions about the services we provide.
